Overview
Montana State University — Bozeman is the flagship land grant university in the state of Montana, consistently ranking as the top university in the state by such organizations as US News and World Report. In an effort to fold digital channels in with their print materials for recruitment efforts, Montana State recruited me for their efforts in making a 280+ page informational product for their undergraduate and graduate programming that was search engine optimized and capable of capturing multiple markets: potential undergraduate students, their parents, and professional students ranging from workforce candidates to future graduate students.
In collaboration with in-house web services, I spearheaded the creation of Montana State’s Academic Search product: a bundle of pages highlighting the University’s programming and an innovative search feature to replace their present offerings. Fully responsive and visually connected to the University’s print branding, the Academic Search as a product was rolled out for three verticals within the university: the undergraduate programming, the Graduate School, and Gallatin College at MSU: the University’s two-year college.
